Spruce Flats Falls trail is not marked on most park maps, making it one of the best kept secrets in the Smokies. Locating the trailhead to the Falls takes perseverance, but the solitude of the hike and visiting the resident salamanders at the Falls will be your reward. You may have a few other waterfall enthusiasts join you in pursuit of the Falls, but anticipate having the trail to yourself.
